For more than 20 years, Dana J. Stewart has served the North Texas community as a family law attorney, helping protect individuals and children in some of life’s most difficult moments. His work regularly includes domestic violence cases and child advocacy, where he is appointed by the courts as an attorney to represent the best interests of children.
Dana’s path into self-defense and firearms training grew out of a moment early in his legal career when he realized firsthand how quickly a routine day can become unsafe. That experience reshaped the way he approached personal protection and sparked a commitment to developing the skills needed to stay calm, capable, and prepared. It’s the same perspective he now shares with his students—proof that you don’t need a military or law-enforcement background to learn how to protect yourself and the people you care about.
Dana is a certified firearms instructor and Range Safety Officer through the USCCA, as well as an expert-level Krav Maga instructor certified through Krav Maga Worldwide and the Krav Maga Association of America. His teaching approach blends legal insight, real-world experience, and a calm, supportive style that helps students learn with confidence. At the heart of everything he does, in the courtroom and training students, is a simple mission: helping people protect themselves and the people they love.
